Currently, guests visiting venues that use Access Gamma are unable to import their tickets and memberships into the app. This can lead to frustration, as they must search through emails or print physical copies to access their passes. The inconvenience is especially pronounced for members, who are often frequent visitors and expect a smoother, more seamless experience. Use cases: Guests can import tickets and memberships directly into the app for easy access. Our solution: Enabling the import of tickets and memberships into the app via Access Gamma will significantly enhance the guest experience. It allows for quicker entry to venues by eliminating the need to search for tickets or membership details, while also providing a convenient, centralised location to store these important documents within the app. For operators, this functionality also drives increased app engagement and usage.

We’re introducing a new payment integration with FreedomPay to enable secure and seamless transactions within the app. What problem are we solving? Currently, the app's payment options are limited to Adyen and Stripe. Adding support for FreedomPay will expand payment flexibility, especially for many venues using Attractions.io in North America. Use cases: Allowing guests to make in-app purchases (e.g., tickets, passes, and F&B) using FreedomPay. Enabling secure, PCI-compliant payment processing for a wider range of payment methods. Providing a smoother checkout experience. Our solution: The FreedomPay integration will enable guests to complete transactions quickly and securely within the app, supporting a wider range of payment methods and improving the overall user experience.

Photo linking and purchasing with Image+. We’re introducing a new photo integration with Image+ to enable guests to purchase imported photos directly within the app. What problem are we solving? Currently, guests wanting to have their photo taken at venues using Image+ don't have the option to purchase or import these photos into the app. This may lead to less guest engagement who are looking for a way to capture and save their photos to remember their experience at a venue. Use cases: Guests looking to purchase their ride photos and import into the app. Our solution: Being able to import photos into the app via Image+ will enhance the guest experience, making it easier for them to treasure and save these moments at venues. For operators, allowing photo integrations increases guest engagement and allows for up-sell opportunities.

We’re introducing a new event subscription service designed to create and publish events directly from guest interactions within the mobile app. This service will allow customers to generate real-time events from any app activity and route them to the destination of their choice, whether that’s a CRM, a data platform, or another downstream system. It also unlocks new orchestration options, including the ability to send campaigns from external sources through Connect, giving operators far greater flexibility in how they build and trigger event-driven experiences.

This will provide the same core functionality available in our native iOS and Android SDKs, including custom map layers, POIs, turn-by-turn walking navigation, and camera controls. We’re building this to support the growing demand for cross-platform development and make it easier for developers to deliver a consistent map experience across iOS and Android. We’ve carefully considered key factors like performance, offline support, and the ability to add interactive overlays and annotations directly within the Flutter framework.

We're introducing an Audio Tours feature, enabling attractions to provide a more immersive experience for their guests by hosting and playing audio files natively within the app. What problem are we solving? Currently, hosting audio files natively within the app isn't possible, which limits attractions from offering richer, more engaging experiences. Use cases: Zoos – Providing animal sounds and zookeeper talks to enhance the visitor experience. Museums – Offering audio tours to provide deeper insights into exhibits and artefacts. Our solution: We’re exploring different approaches to hosting audio files within the app to ensure a seamless and reliable listening experience for guests. What we’re considering: The initial rollout will focus on introducing audio files to POI pages, allowing users to access and play audio directly from these pages to learn more about specific points of interest. It will also support "collections" where experiences can be grouped and explored as part of a tour.

We’re enhancing our mobile app by integrating with Centegra+ to improve menu accuracy, order management, and reporting across multiple systems. What problem are we solving? Currently, maintaining accurate menu information and syncing orders between the app and on-site systems (POS, KMS, and KDS) is complex and inconsistent, leading to operational inefficiencies and outdated information for guests. Use cases: Ensuring guests always see the most up-to-date menu information. Streamlining order processing by automatically syncing orders from the app to POS, KMS, and KDS systems. Improving reporting by consolidating order data from multiple channels into Centegra+ for better operational insights. Our solution: Through the Centegra+ integration, the app will automatically receive and display updated menu information and sync orders directly with on-site systems. This will enhance operational efficiency, improve guest experience, and provide better reporting capabilities.

We’re adding support for indoor positioning to our MapLayr SDK, enabling developers to provide precise location tracking indoors within both SDK implementations and our turnkey app. What problem are we solving? Currently, location tracking is limited to outdoor areas, which makes it difficult for guests to navigate large indoor spaces like pavilions, exhibits, or shopping areas. This creates friction when trying to provide accurate wayfinding and location-based services indoors. Use cases: Helping guests find their way through indoor areas such as museums, aquariums, and large venues. Providing accurate positioning for features like turn-by-turn navigation and proximity-based recommendations indoors. Allowing operators to gather insights into guest movement patterns within indoor spaces. Our solution: We’re enhancing the MapLayr SDK with indoor positioning capabilities using technologies like Bluetooth beacons and Wi-Fi signals to provide precise location tracking indoors.

We’re introducing a new ticketing integration with Anchor Operating Systems to enable guests to retrieve tickets and passes directly within the app. What problem are we solving? Currently, guests visiting venues using Anchor Operating Systems for ticketing cannot access their tickets and passes within the app. This creates friction in the guest experience and increases reliance on email or physical tickets. Use cases: Guests who purchase tickets through Anchor Operating Systems can instantly access them in the app. Guests can easily retrieve and present their passes for entry without needing to search emails or printouts. Our solution: The integration with Anchor Operating Systems will allow tickets and passes to be retrieved and stored directly in the app, providing a smoother and more convenient experience for guests.

We're introducing the ability to add markdown in the Ride Restrictions section in Connect to offer more flexibility to operators wanting to add more detail, such as URLs and images, and also have more control over the formatting. What problem are we solving? Currently, this field is text-only and prevents operators from being able to add URLs or extra formatting. For some operators, it's important that they can add links to this section to redirect guests for more information on ride restrictions. Use cases: Being able to add URLs to the section, e.g. for operators who offer support and guidance around guests with missing limbs or prostheses. Formatting the text so that it's clearer for guests to understand such as being able to add headings, images, bulleted/numbered lists. Our solution: We have added a new toolbar to the Ride Restrictions section in Connect to allow for this formatting. Rather than having to add the exact markdown formatting to the section, we've simplified this by adding a toolbar which automatically formats this for the operator depending on what is selected. We have also added a preview function so that operators are able to view their changes before publishing.

We’re introducing a Ticket Sharing feature to make it easier for users to share passes with friends and family directly from the app. What problem are we solving? Currently, users can't share individual passes within the app. If a user purchases tickets for others, they either have to take a screenshot or share import details, which imports the whole order rather than an individual pass. This creates friction and increases the risk of errors. Use cases: A parent wants to share individual tickets with their children. A friend is organising a group visit and needs to share tickets individually. Our solution: We're adding a share function that allows users to share a pass directly from the ticket screen via the barcode or ticket number. What we're considering: A simple share button on the ticket screen allows users to share through any communication channel (e.g., text or WhatsApp). If the recipient has the app installed, the pass will automatically import into their app. If the recipient doesn't have the app, they'll be prompted to download it before accessing the pass.

This will provide the functionality that makes sense for web from our native iOS and Android SDKs, possibly including custom map layers, POI and other map annotations, wayfinding-based walking navigation, and map camera controls. We’re building this to support the growing demand for web development and make it easier for developers to deliver a consistent map experience across web. We’ve carefully considered key factors like performance, functionality, and the ability to add interactive overlays and annotations directly within the web SDK.

We’re introducing a new integration to support dynamic and variable pricing within the app should the service provider also support this functionality. What problem are we solving? Currently, products have a set price regardless of day or time, and prices cannot be adjusted based on demand. Use cases: Providing variable or dynamic pricing for products such as fast-track tickets, where the price can be adjusted according to the time and day demand. Our solution: Our solution depends on the service provider being able to support variable and dynamic pricing. If so, dynamic and variable pricing maximises revenue and profitability and can help boost guest engagement and conversion. The app will pull the price in real-time if the service provider supports this feature.
